We're a small, yet tight-knit team here at The Alternative, and we like it that way. We have combined more than 40 years of experience in helping businesses operate smoothly, and know The Triangle like the back of our hand. Raleigh will always be home.
Andy Jones Founder/CEO
As someone who always felt more comfortable paving his own road, Andy set out to hold processing and the accountability of mail to a higher standard when he grew to be unsatisfied with what had become the industry standard. Since its inception in 1984, and through a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and cups of coffee, he has continued to promote the avid customer advocacy that is The Alternative. Nowadays, even though mostly from his home office, he has yet to lose that entrepreneurial spirit that is the foundation and soul of the business. During “non-business” times, Andy likes to keep up with current events, listen to his vinyl collection, take walks, play board games, and throw darts.

Nancy Jones Co-Founder/CCO
A Campbell sociology grad, Nancy has been part of The Alternative’s vision since it’s arrival on the Triangle scene in ’84. Since then, she’s served as an example leader, pushing the idea of a better way of handling paper communication through a lot of love, research, conversations, and drive. Now, partially enjoying the retired life, Nancy’s always willing to jump in where needed and still enjoys having those same conversations that started it all. When out of the office, she fancies sketching, traveling, improv acting, and some good wine with good friends.

Kevin McLamb General Manager
Kevin graduated from the Devry Institute of Technology in Decatur, Georgia in 1986. In September of '88, he joined The Alternative team in service and sales and has been home ever since. Interests away from work include gardening, shooting sports, fishing, and staying involved in his church and community.
Tracy Schneider Accounts & Service Manager
Tracy has been service teching at The Alternative for over 20 years. When he's not repairing meters or out visiting customers, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his kids in soccer and playing adult league competitive softball.
Faye Brunson Office Manager
Faye has been working and holding down the fort for The Alternative for over 20 years. When she's not maintaining balance and order on the job, Faye enjoys gardening, volunteering on mission trips, and spending time with her family -- especially her grandchildren, which she claims to be perfect!
Scott Pulley Accounts & Service Manager
Scott has been working in the mailing industry for over 25 years and with The Alternative since 1994. He works in service and sales helping customers meet their needs on a daily basis. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking on the grill, and going to local sporting events, or getting mad out on a golf course.
Dawn Monge Administrative Assistant
Dawn joined The Alternative as the Administrative Assistant in 2007. She manages Accounts Receivables and loves interacting with customers and helping them with their supply ordering needs. She's also usually the friendly voice you'll get when you call. When away from the office, Dawn loves cooking with her husband and trying new recipes.
Adam Swanson IT Manager
Adam has been the IT Manager at the Alternative since July 2010. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two small dogs. He's an avid fan of all things Batman and Patriots football.
April Houck Office Assistant
April has been with The Alternative team since 2006. She is currently an Accounts Receivables guru and speaks fluently in “Equipment Service Agreements.” Outside of work, she plays chauffeur to her two younger kids, volunteers at church, and stays busy with her responsibilities as a Super Mom and wife.
Nate Jones Project Lead -- Strategic Initiatives
An MMC comm grad, Nate joined in early 2017 to help build value and digitally transform an already strong brand and team. When he’s not creating more conversations about The Alternative within the Triangle, he's gyming, gaming, urban hiking/biking, listening to/making music, hanging with friends, or making lists. #meta
